Guardian of Her Dream [Hondo, Texas Wolves] (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour) Page 4
Pressure built, and her entire body shook. Her climax kicked in. Bucking against him with the force of it, her thighs rubbed against Rafe’s muscular thighs.
His eyes flashed that pale gold. He wrapped his arms around her, his neck bowed back, and his climax pulled a loud growl from deep in his chest. His sperm spurted so hard that she felt it against the wall of her channel, even covered as he was by the condom. His climax pumped his huge cock over and over. The sensations teased her swollen flesh so that her orgasm continued with strong contractions. Her flesh swelled even more. After a while his cock quieted at last.
He rolled to his side. With his arms hugging her torso, she rolled with him to her side. He held her as he eased out of her slick channel.
“That was incredible, darlin’.” Lucky’s voice was a mere whisper. He stroked the length of her back. Rafe eased apart from her a little more. Lucky moved so close behind her that she could feel the touch of his warm body along the length of her back and thighs. His breath tickled along her neck. He placed kisses across her shoulders and nape as he lifted her leg over his thigh. The head of his sheathed penis rubbed against her slick, swollen pussy.
His hand caressed her hip, and his long fingers delved between her labia to her clit. As he circled her clit, around and around, he pushed his hard cock into her swollen opening. He pulled out a little and pushed in deeper. Again and again he pulled partway out and slid slowly inside, going deeper each time. He tormented her clit until her body shivered. Her back arched, and she took him deeper as her muscles tightened. He held her close to him with his hand snuggly pressing against her belly. The caress was erotic and arousing in itself.
“Lucky!” Her climax rocked her once more, as he plunged deep and held her hips close against him.
A sharp moan escaped her with the intensity of the contractions, and her hips bucked.
She heard Lucky’s deep rumbling growl near her ear as he pushed to the hilt and climaxed, his cock ejaculating, pumping over and over inside her. She felt his strength even through the condom. His climax went on as long as Rafe’s had. She’d had sex with a few men over recent years, and none of them lasted like Rafe and Lucky. Lucky succeeded in teasing her inner flesh until she was swollen and needy again.
“You guys are unbelievable.” She panted. “Your climaxes leave me wanting even more.” She met Rafe’s gaze.
“That’s what we like to hear, babe,” Rafe said, a smile on his handsome face.
“We can’t leave her like this.” Lucky panted against her nape. “Let’s make sure she’s getting all she wants.” Lucky pulled slowly out of her channel.
“For sure,” Rafe agreed.
As little contractions teased her, and before she could figure out what they intended, Rafe reached down and slid his fingers over her clit, between her labia, to her opening. She inhaled and moaned as her flesh responded, her hips curving toward his arousing touch.
Lucky smoothed his fingers between her butt cheeks and feathered over her anus. Her tight little hole was a pleasure point that she had never experienced before. She’d never wanted or been interested in anal pleasure. Somehow, with Rafe and Lucky, she welcomed the new sensation.
Lucky gently caressed her tight ring with the pad of one finger which was slick with the fluid from her vagina. The sensations from both of the guys caressing her were more than amazing. Her hips jerked in response, and her orgasm kicked in. A moan came from deep in her chest. Her body arched with sweet tension and contractions. The guys never stopped stroking her, and the orgasm went on and on.
At last her body quit shaking and relaxed. Lucky and Rafe removed their tantalizing fingers from her flesh and gently caressed her. Rafe kissed her lips and face, and Lucky pressed kisses along her shoulders and gently nipped her nape.
“That was awesome, guys. I have to tell you both that I’ve never before experienced anything like the pleasure you’ve given me today. I‘ve never enjoyed as many orgasms as you’ve given me today.”
“Thanks, darlin’. You’re incredible.”
“I second that.” Rafe grinned at her.
“But now, I’d better shower by myself and then see about being a good hostess.”
“We can shower in the other bathrooms,” Lucky said.
“Anyone hungry?” Rafe asked.
“You bet.” Lucky sounded ready for a meal.
She smiled at both of them. “After I get dressed, I’ll bring some snacks outside for everyone,” she said. “See you out by the pool in a little bit.”
She headed for her shower and heard Lucky and Rafe leave the bed and gather their clothes together.
She had been well and truly sexually satisfied today. What would happen next with these guys? She could hardly wait to find out what they’d do.

After her shower, she found Dallas and Colt by the pool. They were talking quietly about their girlfriends and agreeing they wished they were home so they could take their girls out to dinner and a movie and spend quality time with them.
Darlene set the tray on the big table among the chairs. “Won’t you two have some tostados and salsa to hold you until we all order dinner delivered?” She helped them to the beverage each one wanted. “I couldn’t help but overhear you mention your girlfriends. Are you missing them and getting anxious to head home?”
Dallas smiled sheepishly. “Yeah, we’re thinking about headin’ out.”
Colt nodded in agreement. “We’ve really enjoyed being in your home. We appreciate everything you’ve done for us. But we’re definitely ready to see our girlfriends.”
“Have you told Kelly yet?”
“No.” Colt shook his head. “We need to let her know.”
“I’m sure she would like to see you before you fly back home. I’m going to see about ordering takeout for dinner. Will steak and potatoes be good for you?”
“Yeah!” they said, at the same time.
“Can we have the steaks rare?” Dallas asked.
“Sure. I’ll come back and join you in a few minutes.”

Rafe wandered into the den looking for Darlene. He couldn’t help but hear her talking with Colt and Dallas near the pool. He stopped in his tracks when he heard them mention Kelly. The guilt he had carried for the way he’d treated her during the testing ceremony threatened to suffocate him like a smothering tarp. He had never done anything so despicable before. What had possessed him to be so underhanded with her? He knew he had done it because he was afraid he was going to lose her to Derek. He had felt awful about it ever since, but he didn’t know what to say to Kelly to fix their friendship.
Darlene walked toward the house, and he stepped back to let her through the doorway. “I’m going to order dinner. Anything special you would like me to order for you? I’m ordering steaks for myself and Colt and Dallas.”
“Whatever you all want is fine with me. I like my steaks rare.” He gave her slender arm a gentle squeeze.
Darlene gave him a smile that he hoped meant she wanted him to stay for a while. He definitely wanted to stay with her. She headed into the kitchen to make her call. He watched her graceful body as she walked away from him to the counter where she kept her cell. His cock stirred again. He couldn’t get enough of that woman.
He walked outside to join Colt and Dallas. He was surprised they weren’t going to stay longer at Darlene’s home and take part in a ménage with her. How could they resist such a seductive woman? Although, he was just as glad to have her to himself with just Lucky involved. Hell, he was getting a hard-on just thinking about the sex they had earlier today. She had shared some awesome sex with him and Lucky. She was incredibly giving and generous. He loved that about her. Her body enticed him and made him hungry for her all over again.
Colt looked at Rafe and frowned at him. “Just so you know, Rafe. I think it’s past time you talked to Kelly about your bad behavior during the testing ceremony. You owe Kelly an apology for what you pulled on her with the dildo
and that sexual enhancement drug.”
Anger burned through Rafe at Colt’s words even though Colt was right. “That’s none of your damn business. Stay out of it.”
“It is my business since Kelly’s my sister. You took advantage of her.”
Rafe held his temper in check as well as his heated reply. It wouldn’t do anyone any good to get in a fight over his lack of good judgment. Arguing with Colt wouldn’t change anything, and it wouldn’t help.
Still, Colt’s attitude didn’t help Rafe’s temper on this sore subject. “I overheard you and Dallas are heading home soon. That’s good. You can’t go back to Hondo soon enough to suit me. But I’m surprised you don’t want to visit longer with Darlene, and instead want to run home to your girlfriends.”
Colt’s hands fisted. “I’m going to stay with Kelly until I get a flight home.” He glanced toward the den doorway.
Rafe followed the direction of Colt’s gaze. Shit. Darlene stood just inside the door. How much did she hear? Rafe hoped she hadn’t heard that part about Kelly.
Colt took a couple steps closer to her. “I’ve enjoyed staying in your home, Darlene. Thanks for everything you’ve done for us. I’m going to head over to visit with Kelly until I fly home.”
“I’ve enjoyed having you here.” She smiled at him. “You’re welcome in my home anytime.”
“Thanks, Darlene.” Colt headed inside the house.
Darlene turned and frowned at Rafe. “That was rather sudden. Just because Colt and Dallas are anxious to go home to Hondo to their girlfriends is no reason to give them such a hard time. They stood by you the whole time you were healing. They showed true friendship to you then. I think you should apologize to Colt for your thoughtless words.”
Rafe was relieved she hadn’t heard everything, especially Colt telling him that he owed Kelly an apology. “You’re right. I’ll tell him, if he’ll listen to me.”
Darlene turned and went back inside.
Rafe looked at Dallas and shook his head at himself for making a mess of things with Colt.
“I know you.” Dallas’s deep voice was full of calm confidence. “You don’t mean the things you said to Colt just now.” He leaned forward with his forearms resting on his knees. “Sometimes you lose your temper at folks when you’re upset with yourself. I think that’s what just happened between you and Colt. Right?”
Rafe nodded. “Yeah, you’re right. I’m upset about what I did to Kelly, and I took it out on Colt. I need to learn to think before I say something that’s out of line.”
“You might want to mend things with Colt soon, though. You would make a difference in Kelly’s life and Colt’s if you apologized to both of them, and showed them the decent man you are deep down, like I know you to be.”
Rafe grimaced, knowing Dallas was right about him needing to apologize to both Kelly and Colt as soon as possible. “I doubt right now is a good time, though. I’ll apologize soon though, first opportunity I get.”
Dallas shifted and leaned forward, resting his forearms on his knees. “You’re probably right about that. Wouldn’t hurt to let Colt cool off first. I’m not sure if you’re aware how much I’ve looked up to you all these years after being adopted into your family. I admire you a lot, more than anyone I know. You’ve been a role model for me ever since I became your brother. You’re a leader, and you care about others. The mistake you made in trying to win Kelly in the testing ceremony didn’t represent who I know you to be.”
Rafe shifted in his chair. “I didn’t know you felt that way about me. Thank you for telling me.”
Dallas looked him straight in the eyes. “I’ll stand beside you if you want backup when you apologize. And you need to take care of that soon because I’m missing home and my girl. I want to get back to her.”
Rafe knew Dallas was right. “Thanks, brother. That means a lot to me. You’re right. I’ll get in touch with Kelly, and I’ll apologize to Kelly and Colt both, as soon as I can. I have a lot to apologize for.” Rafe rose and headed back inside the house.
Dallas stood and followed Rafe. “Well, you don’t have that much to apologize for. Just a couple of things.” They joined Darlene in her den.

Lucky finished his steak dinner outside by the pool. He was concerned that Colt left before dinner arrived, and before Rafe had a chance to see him off. Lucky had a feeling the closeness of some of the members of their families had been messed up by recent events. He hoped Rafe could mend things soon before they left Desert Edge. He’d hate to have these problems carried home to the ranch. It wouldn’t make for smooth ranch operations at all.
Through the open doors to the den he heard Darlene’s cell phone ring. Lucky watched Darlene as she answered it at the kitchen counter facing the den. She held the cell toward Dallas.
“It’s for you. It’s Colt.”
Dallas accepted the cell from her. “Thanks. I told him I’d join him soon. He must need to check with me on our plans.”
Lucky walked inside to join them while Dallas talked with Colt.
“Colt is flying back home soon,” Darlene explained to Lucky.
“Colt wants to talk to you, Lucky.” Dallas offered the cell to him as Lucky crossed the room.
Lucky put the cell to his ear and listened patiently as Colt gave him an earful. Finally, he decided he’d heard enough. He needed to set Colt straight. “I understand you’re not real happy with me for staying at Darlene’s until Rafe is well enough to head back to the ranch.” He lowered his voice, hoping Darlene couldn’t hear him. “I can definitely understand how you feel about what Rafe pulled with Kelly. But I’m not leaving Darlene’s unless she throws us out.” He looked up and Darlene was looking straight at him. “I’m crazy about her.” He smiled at Darlene, and her gaze softened.
His cock pressed against his jeans’ waistband even with just that smile she gave him. Her face turned pink, and she turned away. Lucky forced himself to pay attention to what Colt was saying. Damn, he didn’t want to talk about this with Colt when Darlene was in the room. After Dallas left, he wanted to take up where they’d left off in Darlene’s bedroom earlier.
He lowered his voice even more, hoping she wouldn’t hear. “I know Rafe owes Kelly an apology for what he did to her. No need to tell me. That’s all I have to say about it, and that’s all I’m going to say. Let’s drop it for now.”
* * * *
Rafe’s temper simmered as he listened to Lucky talking on the cell. If he could overhear Lucky on the cell with Colt, Darlene must be able to, even though Lucky spoke softly. Now Darlene looked hurt and unhappy. Even if she hadn’t heard everything Lucky said, she was probably hurt that the guys were talking about heading home. It bothered him a lot that she could have her feelings hurt. He would stay with her as long as she would let him.
Rafe had seen the look she gave Lucky. She cared for him. Rafe hated for her to feel bad. Maybe it was time for Lucky to leave, too, if he wasn’t serious enough about her not to hurt her feelings.
“Lucky, you might as well leave with Colt. You and your brother will be better off back home.” When Lucky’s gaze shot to him, Rafe’s temper rose. “You’re not gentleman enough to spend more time with Darlene.” Rafe crossed the room and grabbed the cell. He gripped it hard, intending to tell Colt what he thought. “Colt, it’s about time you headed back to Hondo. Don’t call here again unless it’s a life or death situation.”
Rafe was used to giving orders on the ranch as foreman, and he expected guys to follow them. He had a feeling he wasn’t handling this right, but he hadn’t had much experience at all with this sort of situation, even if he did cause it.
Rafe ended the call and put the cell down on the kitchen counter.
Lucky looked like a deer in a truck’s headlights. Fuck.
“Rafe, you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m going to stay with Darlene as long as she’ll have me ’cause I’m crazy about her. I’ve admired her all along for her protection of Kelly. Dar
lene means more to me than any woman I’ve ever met. I hope she thinks well of me, too.”
Suddenly, Rafe’s feelings for Darlene hit him like a punch to his stomach. He wanted her just as much as Lucky did.
Darlene didn’t seem to hear Lucky as she glared at Rafe. “I can’t believe you talked like that again to Colt, and also insulted Lucky. You’ve darkened my home with your despicable behavior in doing so. You owe them all an apology.”
Her words slashed through Rafe like a wolf’s canines. “You don’t know the half of it,” he said softly. He headed outside to the pool area. Silence followed him. Damn, he’d made a mess of things again. Maybe he was the one who wasn’t a gentleman, and he should go home.
Chapter Four
Lucky could see plainly that Darlene’s feelings were hurt. He couldn’t stand to see her hurt and upset. He needed to explain to her what had happened with Rafe, and why he said the things he said.
“Darlene, Rafe doesn’t mean to be so short with Colt and Lucky. It’s because he’s been the oldest of all of us and felt responsible for all of us for so long. Looking out for our well-being has sort of spilled over into correcting us when he thinks we’re in the wrong. He’s sort of a second father to all of us. Well, except for Kelly.”
Darlene looked him straight in the eye. “What happened between him and Kelly? If he hurt her…”
“No, he didn’t. At least he didn’t mean to if he did. He may have upset her, but he meant to protect her, ultimately. He was determined to protect her the only way he could think of, and he feels terrible for what he did. But Kelly ended up with the guy she loves and that’s what’s most important, I think.”
She shook her head. “What do you mean? All I know is that Kelly was seeking a hiding place from her brothers and the man her family wanted her to marry. I tried to help her by giving her a place to stay. Then she met Derek and moved in with him. She was crazy about Derek. I know she was concerned about her brothers, and she wanted to avoid them as well as Rafe even after she moved in with Derek. Why? You all have been perfect gentlemen while you’ve been staying in my home, until the last hour. What caused her concern?”
